Photo Frames Using Recyclable Element

August 11th, 2010

There has always been something about glass that I like. Perhaps it’s just a huge coincidence, and I live near the Corning Museum of Glass. Because I love the look of glass so much, I love to go to this museum and look around. I don’t know what it is about glass, but I love the look of it so much that I have it all over my home. As much as I’d like the look of glass, it is not always practical. Having a five-year-old in my home means that I have to make some sacrifices. One of these has been that I have purchased plastic Photo Frames in the last few years. It’s not as big a sacrifice as I thought it would be. I was surprised to find that there are many beautiful plastic Photo Frames out there that look almost as good as glass. I have also found that they are a little less expensive, and have the added bonus of not breaking when they drop. The only thing I don’t like about plastic Photo Frames is that the plastic piece over the photo is not quite as clear as glass might be. A clean piece of glass should be completely transparent, whereas the plastic is always a little visible.

If you have young children in your home like I do, you may want to buy plastic Photo Frames as well. The great thing about these is that they are becoming more and more popular, and you can find almost anything you are looking for. You can find plastic Photo Frames were you buy other types of Photo Frames, and you may even find that some of them look better than the glass versions. Best of all, if these are knocked over, you don’t have to worry about glass shattering all over your floor.

2)Look at do it yourself framing. Now this option isn’t for everyone. If you have some basic technical skills (and I mean real basic), take a look at putting a frame together yourself. If you do go to a retail framing place, they will undoubtedly charge you time and labor to set your picture in its new frame. If you can do it yourself, go for it: you might be surprised at how good you really are at assembling things. Usually, all it takes to put together your own picture frame is a few specialized little tools, some miniature screws, and some hard work. Afterwards, you can even look at your work with pride knowing the effort you put into it. This is a great option for those of us who have more time than money. Saving someone else’s rent charge and doing it yourself are great pieces of advice but don’t matter when talking about digital Photo Frames. Digital pictures frames are the wave of the future. If you know all about digital Photo Frames, you will be far ahead of the game and won’t have to worry about what real Photo Frames cost anyway. Digital Photo Frames are here to stay.
